Â
Into fall’s hands
Dreams of summer scatter
Chilled to death.
Â
Fall strides to winter,
Claiming death of all living
Dreams rolled inward— green.
Â
Winter sulks away
Spring green rising from within
Our winter hearts.
Â
Spring arouses summer
Dreams awaken from a soul,
Heated imaginings.
Â
Into fall’s hands
Summer leaps with all her dreams,
Scattered leaves to air.

The opening and ending stanzas are fabulous. TY for contributing

Oh so cleverly constructed, having the seasons doing a full circle …. my fav stanza….
“Winter sulks away
Spring green rising from within
Our winter hearts.”
the first day of spring down here…!!
